Dr Manisha Doohan is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG). She provides Obstetric care at the St John of God Hospital, Murdoch and performs Gynaecology surgeries at South Perth Hospital.

With over 20 years experience she has dedicated herself to providing the best in women’s healthcare across all life stages. She obtained her primary Medical degree from India, following which she moved to the UK. She completed all her Obstetrics and Gynaecology training in United Kingdom and did her advanced training in maternal medicine, dedicated to managing high risk pregnancies. She is also a member of Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, London (MRCOG). During her training years she received the highly Coveted Lindsay Memorial Gold Medal from West Midlands Deanery, UK.

She moved to Perth with her family in 2018 and worked as a Consultant at King Edward Memorial Hospital. She is a former Head Of Obstetrics at King Edward Hospital.

She thoroughly enjoys teaching and during her training years, she took a year out to teach Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Bristol Medical School, UK. She is Fellow of Higher Education from Bristol University. She has been keen to share her knowledge with medical students and junior doctors.

She is a mother to two energetic children, sports enthusiast, and an advocate of a healthy mind. She looks forward to meeting you on your journey for empathetic and compassionate healthcare.
